Hampton Hotels announced that Hilton Worldwide has signed a management agreement to introduce the Hampton Inn by Hilton brand’s Latin America prototype to Ciudad del Carmen, Mexico. Scheduled to open later this year, Hampton Inn by Hilton Ciudad del Carmen in the state of Campeche incorporates all the architectural and design elements of the brand’s new model for Latin America. For example, it features “the hub,” a zoned environment that provides the ideal facilities for working, mingling, relaxing or enjoying a free hot breakfast.

Hampton Hotels recently announced the opening of 10 new properties during the first quarter of 2011, totaling 873 new rooms.

Officials of Concord Hospitality Enterprises announced that through an affiliated entity, it had acquired a partnership interest in the 194-room Hampton Inn Cleveland-Downtown owned by Cleveland-based The Ferchill Group.
