New GM at Four Seasons Nevis
	Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts named one of its Regional Vice Presidents, Andrew Humphries, as the new general manager of the Four Seasons Resort Nevis.
A seasoned hospitality executive, Humphries brings more than 25 years of industry experience, including direct expertise in the Caribbean region, for which he will direct projects for the Toronto, Canada-based hotel company. The Caribbean-born Humphries will commence his post in Nevis on 30 April. He follows New Zealand-born Martin Sinclair, who recently returned to the Asia Pacific region to take the helm as general manager at The Regent Singapore, a Four Seasons Hotel. Humphries joins Four Seasons Resort Nevis from Four Seasons Hotel Amman in the Middle East, where he also held the role of regional vice president and general manager. Prior to arriving in Amman in 2001, he spent four years as hotel manager of the Four Seasons Hotel London, a flagship property for the company. Story continues below ↓ Advertisement Previous to joining Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in 1997, Humphries worked for Princess Hotels, where he was general manager of Royal Pavilion & Glitter Bay Hotels, two luxury beachfront resorts on the island of Barbados. For four years prior, he was deputy general manager at the Athenaeum Hotel in London Humphries also held senior managerial positions at the storied Savoy Hotel in London, as well as Trust House Forte Hotels. He began his hotel career in the food and beverage division at the Hilton International in London. A fourth generation Jamaican born in Kingston, Humphries is delighted to return to the Caribbean where he still has family ties. He is also a citizen of the United Kingdom and Canada. His academic studies have taken him from England to France to Bermuda and the United States. In New York, he completed an executive programme at Cornell University, one of the most respected hospitality education centres in the country. Fitting for the islands, Humphries enjoys leisure pursuits including golf, tennis, running and water sports. He is married to Mary and the father of two sons, Timothy and Marcus.
