Global Hotel Boom - Hotel Investments Rise to 140bn Euro

According to leading hotel data source tophotelprojects.com, investments in new upscale hotels summarize up to 140 billion Euro (nearly 200bn USD). Building costs for a luxury classed hotel room amounts to average 183,000 Euro. A first class room reflects with 135,000 Euro in the construction budget.

European hotel investments rise to approximately 30bn Euro in respect to more than 1,072 projects with over 189,000 guest rooms.
