AmericInn® Opens Lodge & Suites in Griswold Connecticut!

Luke Fowler, Chairman & CEO of AmericInn International, LLC along with Democles “Demo” Angelopoulos have partnered to bring the southeastern Connecticut region the finest in upscale limited service lodging. The New AmericInn of Griswold located at 375 Voluntown Road--Interstate 395 and Exit 85 is the chains first lodging property in Connecticut and New England. The owning company; 395 Associates, LLC, the development company; Assets Associates, LLC, construction management; HHK Construction Inc., and the operating management company; Three Rivers Hospitality, LLC opened the four story, straight-line, 77-room upscale limited service lodging property on September 5, 2002.

A grand opening celebration in conjunction with the Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce business after hours has been scheduled for September 26, 2002 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. A memorial dedication will be made in honor of the victims of the September 11, 2001 tragedy. “Through tragic times like these, I’m proud to be able to do something in honor and remembrance of all the victims of 911,” said Angelopoulos.
