Hampton Hotels Opens 14 New Properties in Second Quarter

  • Hampton Opened 14 new properties during the second quarter of 2011, totaling 1,311 new rooms.

    “We saw a valuable increase in the number of U.S. hotel openings this past quarter,” said Phil Cordell, global head, focused service and Hampton brand. “Hampton’s continued growth is a true testament to the brand’s value for both hotel owners and guests alike.”

Each zone of the Perfect Mix Lobby – the welcome desk, breakfast serving and dining areas – is intended to create an inviting space that ultimately becomes an extension of the guest room and promotes socialization. A mix of comfort and utility seating styles, highlighted by the community table with bar-height stools, are available to accommodate both business and leisure travelers.

    The Jump Start Fitness facility also showcases an innovative design that offers guests a quality experience, regardless of their preferred workout style. Cardio and strength training are supported with professional-grade equipment, with the added availability of core and balance training products. The Jump Start Fitness facility also features exercise safe flooring, a flat panel LCD TV, stylized mirrors and a streamlined layout all geared to optimize each guest’s workout routine.
