Doubletree Hotel Bellevue in Washington State Completes Multi-Million Dollar Renovation |

BELLEVUE, Wash. May 13, 2003 The Doubletree Hotel(R) Bellevue, located at 300 112th Avenue SE in the heart of Greater Seattle's second biggest city, is proud to announce the completion of a $4.5 million renovation project on the hotel's 353 guestrooms and the 9th floor executive level lounge. |
The Doubletree Hotel Bellevue is owned and managed by California-based Hilton Hotels Corporation. The renovation design project was coordinated and executed by Portfolio & Associates based in Houston, Texas.
"The Doubletree Hotel Bellevue is eager to greet business and leisure travelers with a fresh, new contemporary design," said Frank Welton, hotel general manager and area vice president -- Washington and Idaho for Hilton Hotels Corporation. "The completion of our guestroom renovation is merely the first step toward our commitment to our guests in making their stay at the Doubletree Hotel Bellevue a warm and memorable one."
The hotel's new look includes newly remodeled guestrooms that feature a warm and vibrant color palette of bright reds, yellows and rusty oranges. The transitional clean design evokes a simple elegance, created through a mix of organic shapes and clean geometric lines. Each guestroom features new carpeting, wall coverings, bathroom tiles, bedspreads, pillows, ergonomic desk chairs and furniture. The design direction found in the guestrooms also was carried into the hotel corridors.
In addition, the 9th floor executive floor was also renovated, which now features an exclusive lounge for executive floor guests that offers daily continental breakfast and a manager's afternoon reception.
The Doubletree Hotel Bellevue is proud to offer the Atrium Grille, serving freshly prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual setting. Guests may also enjoy their favorite beverage and catch the latest in sports in the Quiet Bar.
Guestroom amenities include high-speed Internet access; dual-line phones with voicemail and data port; video-on-demand movies; oversize work desk and chair; electronic lock systems; coffee maker; iron and ironing board; hairdryer; clock radio and remote control television.
Meeting facilities include 17,000-square feet of flexible meeting space that features both high speed and wireless Internet access. The new wireless Internet service is also available in the business center and all public areas of the hotel.
For recreational activities, guests can enjoy the fitness center, heated outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool. The Doubletree Hotel Bellevue is also conveniently located just a few blocks away from Bellevue Square, the largest shopping mall in the Northwest, and is an easy drive to downtown Seattle and its many attractions, including several wineries, breweries, golf and numerous high-tech corporations.
