Established in 1797 and owned by Gettysburg College, the hotel is located on Lincoln Square at the center of historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Waterford Hotel Group will assume management effective April 1, 2012, marking the 30th property in Waterford’s portfolio and its 3rdlocated in Pennsylvania.

Plans are underway for extensive renovations at the Gettysburg Hotel. “Next year marks an important year for Gettysburg as we commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg and Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address. Waterford’s experience in operating properties ranging from historic inns to full service hotels offers a vast amount of resources that will further the Gettysburg Hotel in its goal of providing outstanding accommodations, services, and overall guest experiences throughout the Sesquicentennial commemoration and beyond,” added Konstalid.
