Value Place has announced the grand opening of a newly constructed hotel in Grand Junction, Colorado, located at 651 Market Street. This is the brand’s fifth hotel in the state, joining Value Place hotels in Denver, Fort Collins, and Colorado Springs. Value Place has partnered with local franchisor VP Grand Junction, LLC to develop this hotel. The hotel will be open to the public effective September 30, 2014.
“We are pleased that VP Grand Junction, LLC has chosen our business model to secure their investment,” said Andy Anderson, Executive Vice President of Business Development at Value Place. “Demand for economy extended-stay hotels is steadily increasing and we are excited to expand our presence in Colorado with our fifth Value Place there.”
The new four-story, 124-room hotel will feature such guest amenities as laundry facilities, high-speed wireless internet, modified kitchens, and the cleanliness, safety, and security that a Value Place provides to every guest.
Extended-stay hotels are an appealing option for government employees, construction workers, business travelers, and other workers whose careers require them to travel and stay for extended periods of time.
Value Place is focused on strategic expansion across the U.S. through corporate- and franchise-owned development. Over the next three years, expansion plans include the acquisition of land to build corporate and franchised properties in markets including Miami, Philadelphia, Fort Lauderdale, Boston, Atlanta, Chicago, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, and Atlanta.
With nearly 190 hotels open in 32 states, Value Place has emerged as a leader in the extended-stay segment. The brand continues to garner national recognition, and was recently named by Forbes magazine as the top hotel franchise in the U.S., one of 2014’s Top 500 Franchises by Entrepreneur Magazine, as well as one of Franchise Business Review’s Top 50 Franchises for four consecutive years.
