Hotel operations system ALICE is excited to welcome former Zillow Group Strategic Partnerships Manager Michael Morris and former TravelClick VP of New Business Development Jessica Kramer as the company’s new VP of Sales and new VP of Business Development respectively.
Morris and Kramer will be responsible for leading and scaling the sales team and expanding hotel partnerships on the ALICE platform.
At Zillow Group, the leading online real estate marketplace, Michael helped build and lead the Strategic Partnerships Mortgage Sales team in NYC, a high-performance team that generated multi-million dollar, successful partnerships with the nation’s largest banks and non-bank mortgage lenders. Prior to joining Zillow, Michael helped build the advertising sales force at Trulia and built LiveIntent to become the leading DSP for email advertising. Michael brings a wealth of sales team leadership and Saas platform experience to ALICE as the company looks to continue their impressive growth.
At TravelClick, Jessica was responsible for sourcing and closing large deals and other opportunities for scale, paving the way for TravelClick's $930M sale to Thoma Bravo in 2015. For the past 2 years, Jessica ran TravelClick's in-house digital agency and was responsible for bringing in clients including Four Seasons, Dream Hotel Group, Hilton, Grand Heritage, Loews Hotels & Resorts, and the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, among others. Prior to joining TravelClick, Jessica worked in operations at Newport Hotel Group, where she developed a passion for hospitality, technology and providing a superb guest experience.
“We’re excited to welcome Michael and Jessica to the ALICE team. They both bring a wealth of SaaS and hospitality sales experience and the necessary leadership skills to help guide us to the next stage of our growth” says Justin Effron, ALICE’s co-founder and CEO. “We look forward to working with them to bring the most innovative and technology-forward new hotel partners into our community”
ALICE welcomes both Michael and Jessica as key members of the company’s executive team. ALICE has raised $13M in funding, most recently closing a $9.5M Series A in December, 2015, which was led by Expedia. Clients like Amsterdam Hospitality and The One & Only Bahamas have chosen ALICE for the company’s leading technology systems.
