White Lodging announced the opening of the 155-suite SpringHill Suites Milwaukee Downtown.

Located at the corner of 4th and Wells streets, the hotel, opened Tuesday, operates as a Marriott franchise, is owned by JSWD Commerce, LLC, an affiliate of Jackson Street Holdings and managed by White Lodging Services.

"This hotel provides today's most important amenities to guests, with both hot breakfast and wifi complimentary and included in the daily room rate," said Chris Anderson, senior vice president and chief revenue officer at White Lodging. "No other hotel connected to the Wisconsin Center is able to provide that to their guests."

The SpringHill Suites Milwaukee Downtown is located within the historic Commerce Building built in 1928 and just two blocks from the BMO Harris Bradley Center. The hotel is situated just minutes from Marquette University, the Henry W. Maier Festival Park – home of Summerfest and the historic Third Ward District.

"I believe the hotel's location and historic location is unlike any other in the city," said General Manager Michael Aftanski. "We are ready to welcome visitors to Milwaukee as well as local residents who want to stay close to all of the action downtown."

Featuring suites that are larger than typical hotel rooms, SpringHill Suites Milwaukee Downtown is ideal for business and leisure travelers looking for style and inspiration in their stay. Every aspect, from furniture and lighting to colors and fabrics, has been carefully selected to offer calm and refreshing spaces. Separate living, working and sleeping spaces also provide guests with flexibility and functionality. The perfect place to sink into a good night's sleep, the hotel offers luxurious linens and plush pillows, while a comfortable pullout sofa bed and lounge chair offer additional space for relaxation or extra family members. The hotel's tasteful bathroom includes modern touches, a marble-top vanity, iridescent tile walls and creative lighting features, which help travelers revive and refresh.

In addition to the SpringHill Suites Milwaukee Downtown, White Lodging manages the Milwaukee Marriott Downtown, and the upcoming The Westin Milwaukee Downtown, both owned by Jackson Street Holdings, LLC.
