Senih Geray Named General Manager for The St. Regis New York

Geray joins The St. Regis New York from The St. Regis Atlanta where he served as the General Manager since 2012. Under his leadership, The St. Regis Atlanta garnered numerous awards, accolades and distinctions.

The St. Regis New York announced the appointment of Senih Geray as General Manager. A respected leader in the luxury hospitality arena, he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role at The St. Regis New York and his appointment marks his return to the landmark hotel after successful tenures at The St. Regis Atlanta and The St. Regis Aspen Resort.

Senih Geray - General Manager - The St. Regis New YorkGeray began his career in the hospitality industry in 1989 as a Guest Service Agent at the Sheraton Grande Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California. After much success, Geray relocated to New York where he first joined The St. Regis New York team as Financial Controller, a position he held for eight years. Geray has also served as the General Manager at the Sheraton Voyager Antalya Hotel, Resort & Spa in Turkey and The St. Regis Aspen Resort. During his six year tenure at The St. Regis Aspen Resort, Geray was instrumental in transitioning the hotel into new ownership and overseeing a $43 million renovation along with the debut of the hotel’s Chef Club; a first ever restaurant partnership with Food & Wine Magazine. 

Geray attended the United States International University in London where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He continued his education at the United States International University in San Diego, California where he studied Hotel and Restaurant Management. 

With over a decade of experience in the luxury hospitality arena, Geray has demonstrated his passion for developing talent as a repeated guest speaker at the Dedman School of Hospitality at Florida State University where he delights in sharing his keen industry insight to aspiring hospitality students.
