South Florida's original home of fresh-grilled premium steak, chicken, and other premium subs is about to blaze a new trail in the restaurant industry when new franchise owners, Troy and Tina Ather, open their first Jon Smith Subs franchise today, Sept. 25, in Oviedo.
"When any restaurant concept is built around this kind of quality taste and positive guest experiences, it's no surprise that guests are eager for our doors to finally open," Troy Ather said about his soon-to-open franchise location. The new Jon Smith Subs, located at 3607 Aloma Avenue, Suite. 1071, will be making its grill-mark debut in Central Florida with the freshly prepared, generously portioned hot subs and award-winning crispy fries that have made the Jon Smith Subs name famous for nearly 30 years.
In honor of the newest location in Oviedo, the brand will be celebrating its flagship restaurant by providing the first 50 guests in line by 10:00 a.m. free 6-inch subs of their choice for a year!*
"Jon Smith Subs' signature sandwiches feature high-quality meats and fresh vegetables served hot off the grill," added Troy Ather. "We are proud to be a part of this fast-growing franchise and to be the first to open a location in a new market. The food truly stands apart from other sub shops with its quality and consistency, and the guest experience is second to none."
Oviedo's new Jon Smith Subs restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m., and closed on Sundays.
Founded in 1988, Jon Smith Subs was recently acquired by West Palm Beach based United Franchise Group. Currently there are nine locations in Palm Beach County, FL with plans to expand the sandwich chain worldwide.
