great for theory not for practice 
Economists are under the delusion that economics is on par with physical sciences such as physics regarding "laws" and "facts".
To keep this delusion up you are forced to learn mathematics to be considered a "serious" economist, this is another book to sustain this delusion. But I'm all up for it, I enjoy the occasional escapism into the realms of pointlessness. when I was at the beginning of my scientific training in theoretical economics I encountered, occasionally, the book of Alpha Chiang. In had been a fantastic meeting. Alpha Chiang hab been the key for entering into the fundamentals of mathematics for economists.

This is the best book in mathematical economics. Clear, it complete in every its chapter. It's advisable for beginner or for advanced students.
