Repeptive and Wordy 
The chapters cover all areas necessary to get a comprehensive understanding of MIS and related technologies. There are real world case studies provided in each chapter to give readers an insight into actual applications and quantify the reading. The historic background and foundation concepts provided are substantial and well presented. These are definitely plus points for this book. Thorough Book - But worth the money? 
Are any textbooks really worth what they charge? Not really - However, this is a good book and covers many (almost) up to date concepts. In technology, I am guessing for a hard cover book, the updated materials are as close as you can get.
