Not what I expected 
I was hoping for something a little easier to go through. I find this is more of a reference text than I was looking for.

This book is great for anyone thinking about entering the securities field, or just interested in taking a more active role in managing his or her own investments. If you've been away from formal math studies for some time, the author's patient step-by-step approach to all calculations is reassuring. He begins with a very helpful section on the proper use of a calculator. (I suspected that there were some neat things it could do that I hadn't explored yet!)
