Save your money.... 
Amazingly poorly edited. There are so many mistakes and misprints I can't believe it made it past the publisher. I'm no mathematician, but all you have to do is look at some of the stuff and you can see blatant, uncomplicated and obvious errors. I can't express my frustration at attempting to use this book. Save your money.... find something else.

Error prone book that shouldn't be published 
I checked out this book from the library, if I had bought the book, I'd feel cheated of my money. There're, on average, 1 error every 3 pages in this book. Frankly, I don't even know how this manuscript even passed through the editors at McGraw-Hill (assuming the book even has one). Most of the errors are very basic. For example, the question asks about: a + b. The answer is for a - b. These types of simple errors can be easily avoided if someone just checks the manuscript before it was sent to the... more info

DON'T BUY THIS!!!!! 
I concur with most of what has been written. This book is awful. I'm taking the GRE and wanted to review material that I haven't used in many years. The abundance of exercises impressed me and so I purchased the book. There are so many errors that the publisher should be embarrassed to be associated with it. Even worse, while the writer obviously knows his math, he is completely lacking in teaching skills. Ugh, sick that I spent money on this 
As everyone else has said, the book is chock full of errors. Almost to the point one wonders if anyone took the time to edit. STAY AWAY!!!!!
