Not perfect, but well done
I find this book very useful for people who want to learn french and conjugate correcly. The book itself is not perfect, but the verbs are conjugated correctly, in all tenses. The most important thing about the whole book is that it includes the most used and important verbs. My only complaint is that the book is big, and because it's big, I should be hardcover.

Good Layout, Weak Usability 
The verbs are very well laid out in all forms, and the usage section for each verb is excellent. Unfortunately, the CD is only compatible with Windows computers (not mentioned anywhere on Amazon's page), which means you're stuck with the book itself for drills, and the book is rather bulky to carry around with you.

Excellent resource for learning French 
I used the 501 Verb series in studying Spanish and French years ago. I still occasionally use those for reference. I picked this French volume up on a recent trip to Canada. Unfortunately, my copy did not include the CD, so I can't comment on whether that is a helpful tool.

Couldn't be any better!
I purchased this book a few weeks ago, primarily because it offered the most verbs (over 2700!) for the best price AND included software. Indeed, the included software is much better than I would've expected; I still haven't been able to take a crack at all of the exercises, and I've had it for weeks!
When I bought the book, I didn't pay attention to the authorship, as I was focusing mostly on getting the most bang for my buck (and this isn't the sort of book where readability is an issue), but after... more info
