Couldn't finish it
This appears to be a biography for Bill Capodagli, rather than a discussion of the principles and execution that make Disney a success. I had hoped for a behind the scenes look but got a "here's how I ran the laundry" biopic. I much preferred "Lessons from the Mouse: A Guide for Applying Disney World's Secrets of Success to Your Organization, Your Career, and Life" by Dennis Snow. Very Helpful Book
While sometimes over effusive of their praise for the Disney Company, the writers of this book have captured in practical, teachable terms what makes Disney so magical and how you can harness that spirit for your own organization. Recommended for any manager who wants to create a more fluid customer experience, this book is a quick and easy read. You'll fly through it and be able to quickly pick the parts that are helpful to your company.

Some good ideas but...
I find it a bit odd that two authors would write so much about Disney without ever actually being Disney employees. With that out of the way, sure there are a lot of interesting concepts presented that buck the management norm. You should have no problem finding ideas in the book that you can implement or adapt for your organization. Oddly there were many Sept 11th references in the book that really added nothing to the story, kind of puzzling why these were so liberally used. Worth buying.

Mickey Rocks
Interesting book with good insights- many of which you will also find in toher books, but here presented along with a history of their development within Disney. The book is easy to read, and has something for all to learn.
