It is written for supply chain professionals to explain six sigma process methodologies and how they can be applied to improving real business processes. This is most definitely a book for Supply Chain and Operations Management practitioners. If the reader is looking for a high level review of the subject matter, I would not recommend this book. This book is a serious, dense study of the material with practical applications and techniques. Of the various industry texts that I have read, this is probably the "slowest read" mostly because there is so much content and meaning in each section.
