concinse & to the point.
I liked this book compared with the last reviewer. It gets to the point, the chapters are shorter than other books, and the material is pretty easy to understand. Sure I wouldn't read this for fun, but as textbooks go, I think the guy did a pretty good job compared to other accounting books I've had to use for classes. The book itself is more like the size of a paperback vs a textbook, making it easier to carry around. Smart thinking Gordon.

Boring, unimaginative, and overpriced
Boring, unimaginative, and overpriced. Accounting is not as boring as it is made out to be. Textbooks such as these are to be blamed.
