Not bad, but shouldn't be used for accounting classes 
This is not a bad book. It has interesting real-life examples and discussion of important issues. The only real problem was that I had to use this book for Intermediate Accounting, and it wasn't good for that purpose. This book focuses on statement analysis and use, not on preparation. If you are taking a financial analysis class, the book is fine. If you taking an accounting class, it doesn't go into the specifics of how the statements are presented and is completely inadequate.
