Awsome 
After reading this book I am truly hooked on the DH series. Sherrilyn is right up there with two of my favorite authors, Lora Leigh and Gene Showalter. I was a little skeptical at first, boy was I wrong. This was a great book that will tug at your heart and have you laughing at the same time. The romance is so touching; I just fell in love with Julian and his life story and the best part are the supporting characters through out the novel.
Great start to a wonderful series.

Actually pretty good!
I liked it! The last fourth of the book could have been thought out better, but the writer does her job and convinces us that all this is very possible and reasonable. It was a fun book and that is all it is meant to be.
We are drawn to her characters, we sympathize with them, we breath hard with them, they become our friends. I don't see how this book is any worse than early Nora Roberts books, only sexier.
If you want something fun and steamy, give this book a try.

How did I get this book? A vampire girl suggested it to me. That should have tipped me off right there. This is a X-rated fantasy novel for women. Lonely women. Women who have nothing to do but read this book, drink and play in the shower. This is what we would call white women's fantasy not to be confused with white men's fantasy. Wow!!!
This one is hard to put in words, that's for sure! A great read if you're looking for a very sensual, yet unusual read. I truly enjoyed the fantasy story-line. You just have to read it with the understanding that it IS fantasy, not a modern-day typical romance novel. If you can do that, then you're in for a treat! Highly recommend!
