Very helpful for a beginner and a seasoned vet in the administrative assistant world. Arrive in great shape and in a reasonable time period.

The Complete Office Handbook attempts to be a guide for everything that administrative assistants may need to do in a typical office. In it's attempt to cover everything, it only skims over most topics. I bought this to get some tips on office etiquette, but the section on etiquette was quite brief and covered things that were mostly common sense for people who have worked in an office before. This is an excellent book. It covers many areas of office procedure and etiquette, including electronic forums. I would recommend this book as an excellent guide for the office.
