• Not a lot of help to me
  I read through this book with great interest, since our church small group (made up of 20-30 year old "young career age" people) was looking for some new ideas for our weekly small group meetings. However, I didn't find many in this book at all.
  The ideas are mostly very short; both in substance (length of the description) and duration (the time it would take to carry them out). Many are obvious ("Go out for dinner"), a LOT are very touchy-feely/sharing type of activities ("Everyone takes turns sharing... more info

• Interesting and Useful Ideas
  This book contains some interesting and useful ideas for leading small groups. I will be applying some of the ideas to the small church group that I lead.
