The secret is actually doing the work 
Secrets to Creating Passive Income outlines the ideas, then you actually have to do the work. Many of the authors' ideas are ones I've heard before, but thought I couldn't do. This book says "you can do it, and here's how." I've started using some of the ideas that fit for me, like using affiliate programs, writing books and giving workshops. It's exciting every time I get an e-mail that says I've referred a sale! I'm finishing my first book and I've given several workshops. Workshops are my favorite... more info

A get rich quick scheme - no - A METHODICAL, REPEATABLE 'GET RICH' SYSTEM - YES! 
For those of you looking for a 'get rich quick' scheme - look on. But for those of you looking for a system that extracts meaningful, potentially profitable ideas and ways to implement them, this book is for you! The potential in these pages is unlimited, and it is unlike any other finance book out there - at least in my experience. Most of those other 'financial freedom' books assume your head's in the wrong place and they want to fix your thinking to help you 'feel more abundant.' Frankly, I'm tired... more info

What secret? 
The big Secret is how you look at things all around you. I didn't get anything out of this book to make it worth the price - no aha moment. No new ideas or way of looking at things. Definitely, no Secret.

What I got out of this book: I am my own gold mine! 
There is a saying that "Ideas are God's gold coin." If you want a way to mine those golden nuggets, get this book! There is a section called Idea Fest and in this section, they ask questions and give examples that frame what kind of products you can make and sell if you have good answers to these questions. Such as "Have you ever lived in a really interesting place?" If you have, there are at least a dozen ways to capitalize on that.
