Too basic and repetitive 
I had high hopes for this book but it did not meet my expectations. The book does a decent job explaining the difference between an LLC and other entities like C corp, S corp, general partnerships, etc. However, it does not get to the point about (1) steps needed to file an LLC and the common paradigm of filing in Nevada / Delaware and then registering in your home state, (2) choosing where to file for LLC, or (3) ongoing legal and financial care and feeding of the LLC so you do not "pierce the corporate... more info

Beware! Does not deliver what it promises- unless you pay more!!!
The information in this book seems correct as far as it goes. But the book's subtitle says "All you need to know about limited liability companies." Turns out, though, that to get "all you need to know" you have to buy one or several of their other books, depending on how much of "all" you expected to get! For instance, on page 6/18 (3rd edition) the book directs you to purchase one of their other publications to get information on how to operate your LLC. Useful and Easy to Understand 
I am currently in the process of creating my own LLC at the time writing this review. The book is very helpful to understand the process and the things I will have to worry about from a legal and also tax perspective. I hired a lawyer for the company creation before I bought the book and have now the feeling that I could be doing it without paying a lawyer. Quick easy read, Great Information!
I read this whole book on a flight from Miami to Seattle. I had just started an LLC through a Lawyer and wanted to get an idea of how to put together the Operating Agreement. This book had a great Operating Agreement example in the back. It also had simple examples for each scenario that helped me understand the best type of LLC set-up for my business.
