Another awesome book for Charlaine Harris. A must read. If you loved True Blood you will love these books much better and Thanks to Alan Ball for making this into a HBO Seris. Well written and very imaginive.

Not as good as the first, but still a fun read
I agree with some of the previous reviewers ~ I don't think this one was nearly as good as the first, but it's still pretty darn good. It had me staying up later than I needed to just so I could read a little bit more. And when I was finished, I couldn't download #3 fast enough. I'm a big fan of the series, and if you've read the first book, you should definitely read this one.

I'm Hooked on Sookie!
This book is just as good as the first one! And since I don't have HBO (True Blood series) the characters were all new to me. I'm hoping Santa will bring me more books in the series, I've been a very good girl this year!!

What a Heroine!
We hit the ground running in the second Sookie Stackhouse novel, which builds well on the first one. As a reader, I am a chicken (couldn't get through the second Lee Child novel, for example) and a particularly scary scene in Living Dead in Dallas made me set the novel down for a few days & wonder if I'd ever get back to it.
