Terrific read for Intrapreneurs... 
This is a great book! I have successfully implemented several of its teachings in my organization. This book provides a new thought perspective of dealing with people.
The interesting thing about AOW is the emphasis on personalities and human emotions. The real world case studies are amazing and wonderfully researched. This book will remain a classic for people willing to learn the ways of persuasion.

Learning something about persuasion (selling) from a couple of college professors is like learning about sex from Roman Catholic priests.

Quite an entertaining read ... all the probing questions for wooers are certainly worth the price of the book!
Actually, I was attracted to this new book by it's secondary title, 'Using Strategic Persuasion to Sell Your Ideas'.
I have always been fascinated by the subject of selling ideas to others.
According to the two authors, "woo" is defined as the ability to "win others" over to your ideas or initiatives without coercion, using relationship-based, emotionally intelligent persuasion.
In other words, how to sell your ideas to the entire organisation, one person at a time.

Excellent book on how to pitch winning ideas! 
I read this book after failing to arouse significant interest for my idea within my company. After reading this book, I realized the flaws in the plan of action I had followed in pitching my idea. Good read especially if you plan to pitch new idea within your organization!
