Book that takes you down a path. 
I read this book as an artist, and as part of my interest in understanding more about what might be at the center of our human actions and responses in the realm of the arts. Beyond the ideas of taste or of commercial practices. I was quite moved by what I found in these pages. The author takes the reader on a slow navigation of the concept of "blandness" and its profound meanings in Chinese philosophy and arts.
