The Definitive Work
This is the magnificent product of a lifetime of research by noted rail historian, airline captain, and former NPRHA president Bill Keubler. Simply Wonderful
If you have any questions about the Northern Pacific Railroad's North Coast Limited, you'll likely find the answer in this wonderful volume. I was lucky enough to ride the Great Northern's Empire Builder in the 1960s, but this book made me wish my parents had bought tickets on the NP flagship. This comprehensive and attractive text should be the model of what other rail authors should aspire to. I highly reccommend it!

Great Book for Train Fans!
I ordered my book a few weeks ago. The first 500 copies are signed and numbered by the author--a nice addition. The book is broken down into 4 parts covering the prior history, a tour of the train in 1959, the operational phase (including consists, seasonal changes), and a history post-Amtrak. There is also a photo galary with diagrams of the cars for those interested in modeling. This book has many great photos, and would make a nice addition to anyone that was a fan of the train.
