Bad Copy 
I purchased this as a brand "new" item directly from Amazon thinking that I will do better buying a new item from reputable source instead of a used copy from someone else.
The quality of the copy I got was poor for the first CD, for the second one I thought it was a joke. Could it be that the introduction to Freight Brokerage business started with a Gospel song? No it wasn't a joke, the entire CD was a Gospel songs CD labeled as Freight Brokerage Business CD 1. So sure enough, someone made a mistake... more info

Excellent Information for a reasonable price 
The other review for this item appears to be for a book by the same or similar title and not these CDs. The CDs are excellent and answer a range of questions from what is a freight brokerage business to pricing services. There is a fair amount of basic business information on here but before you dismiss that as unneeded -- consider that most business fail not because of concept but because of basic business practices. Can't hurt to review the fundamentals.

How to Start a Business!!! 
This is a good overview for a buisness student. This book was not specific to Freight Brokerage, but general business start-up information for any business. The best advice I heard throughout the book was to go to work as an agent for a Freight Brokerage to learn about the business, plus some cautions that this is a fast paced, possibly high stress business environment. The free financial software did not work on my Windows Vista computer. The sample forms are useful if you are not familiar with accounting.... more info
