Review of the LCD Display
This is a review of the LCD display that is built in to these iMac units. My sister has one of these, and I used it for a week while housesitting for her. The iMac's LCD display is not nearly as horrible as most other LCD screens I've seen. Most LCD monitors I've seen have viewing angle problems and blurry text. Another Homerun for Apple
In the late part of 1999, I considered and built what I thought was the best, fastest PC I had ever seen. I spent nearly $1300 for the components and then took my time putting it all together. It was my goal, you see, to make a PC that could capture, edit and burn DVD footage. It failed miserably and I made the move to Apple. I've never gotten a virus with my Mac. It's worth the few extra dollars you spend compared to IBM's. I can't say enough good things about it. Easy to use etc....

I composed a long, thoughtful review detailing exactly what irritates the hell out of me about my 20" Intel Core 2 duo iMac, when Safari, in which I composed it, unexpectedly crashed (something which isn't supposed to happen if you believe the hype). It's the second time Safari has crashed this evening, and iTunes has been crashing every time the weedy superdrive has trouble reading a disk - which is far more often and any other optical drive I have ever encountered - all week. The iMac is pretty, but... more info
