Remote alone makes this a "don't buy" 
The basic functions (picture, etc.) work fine. However, I later bought an Insignia converter at Best Buy and then found out how deficient the features and remote of the Philco unit are. The Philco remote has some buttons that are as small as pinheads; it must be seen to be believed. Also it lacks direct button access to features such as zoom,letterbox, etc. You need to activate setup and go thru 2 more menus with those tiny buttons, unlike the Insignia which has direct access to that and many more... more info

Unit was very easy to setup and worked great. No problems have since order a second unit as we were that impressed.

This is great! I was really impressed with the A/V connections AND directions on how to connect to an existing cable/satellite box and still watch SAT TV or "digital". This is a great product and I highly recommend it. To be honest, I was surprised to see what I was missing on the digital channels. And it greatly enhances the picture to absolutely no snow at all.
