Customer Review: Full of useful, practical knowledge for the wards. The how-to sections on procedures are especially helpful. Overall I great resource to refer to.
Customer Review: Absolutely uninteresting, I'm returning it. Over the years, I've bought, oh probably like a dozen of these books (from this series, I mean) and, with the exception of Managing High-Tech Enterprise, found them completely unhelpful and uninteresting. Always self-contradictory, unintelligent, and... more info
Customer Review: I bought this for just that, a quick reference, I didn't know it was a petite little book but that was an okay surprise (I should have looked at the dimensions I guess). It's not Mosbys but it will do in a pinch. Its easy to read but doesn't have as much detail as you might want sometimes.
Customer Review: I wasn't going to write a review but I saw this book geting 5 stars and that just seemed inaccurate. My entire intern class bought this book in 2003 and I am not aware of any of us(out of 9) using it still 3 months later. That can be hard if you aren't even sure what you don't know. I am a smart person, but I was at a loss for some really basic things. It looked bad. Then! I found this book and... more info
Customer Review: The book has 34 songs in it by 18 composers. The variety found here is what carries the bulk of the 3 stars. A list is included at the bottom since Amazon doesn't provide a table of contents for this book. Unfortunately, I have found the accompaniment CDs to be less than helpful. As someone who... more info
Customer Review: I purchase anthologies to get aquainted with new authors. Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine generally satisfies my thirst for crime stories, but the whole historical aspect of this collection caught my interest. Overall, the book is pleasant, yet humdrum. Many of the stories were so brief you really... more info
Customer Review: I purchased this book in nursing school. It was the only "pocket" reference book that actually fit in my pocket! The book is comprehensive without a bunch of filler. Now that I'm an RN, I still carry it and refer to it often. There is a "nursing" version of this book, but to my mind it contains... more info
