Customer Review: This is the standart source for learning Arabic. With enough effort you can learn Arabic by yourself using the books in these series. But remember, if you do not know the Arabic Alphabet, you should buy the Alif-Baa book first, by the same authors. It is also as good and comes with DVDs.

Customer Review: If you are using Al-Kitaab and not also in an Arabic class, I'd say the audio on the go CD is a must. It's the dialogues and exercises from the DVD that comes with the book, but you can take it wherever you go on your MP3 player. Very helpful.
