Customer Review: I had high hopes for this book but it did not meet my expectations. The book does a decent job explaining the difference between an LLC and other entities like C corp, S corp, general partnerships, etc. However, it does not get to the point about (1) steps needed to file an LLC and the common... more info
Customer Review: Inc. Yourself, should be read by anyone who is a sole proprietor, or anyone wishing to start their own business. The author explains the different types of Corporations, and which one you would chose based on your needs. She has many examples and forms. She also covers all 50 states in her Index.... more info
Customer Review: I had some pretty high expectations for this book and it came nowhere near delivering. There are a lot of better books on the market that explain how to start a business. Most of the forms in this book can be made yourself with minimal word processing skills.
Customer Review: Book covers basic marketing lessons that can be fit to use in any business. Some sections go as far to tell the reader that they must pay taxes and have a business plan. This book is not for anyone with a basic understanding of a business. There are far too many spelling and grammer errors.

I've been in the industry for over a decade and I still use it as a reference and encourage both entrepreneurs and lawyers to read... more info

Customer Review: Tad Crawford has written a whole series of books out of his expertise in the law and creative arts, with a special focus on visual arts. I'd suggest looking at Tad's other books, too, since this one is more action-focused without extensive explanations of the whys and wherefores of it.more info
Customer Review: Bob Klueger has accomplished more with this easy-to-read masterpiece than five similar books have done to teach me the basics of asset protection. Written specifically for the average person who needs a quick yet thorough understanding of the many twists and turns of asset protection, Klueger... more info
