Customer Review: This book generally fulfilled my expectations as a travel book. It gives a great number of amazing destinations with enough info to allow you search further. I also liked the idea of splitting the trips by means of travel (boat, plane, train, car, 2-legs, 4-legs, etc). On the other hand, as an... more info
Customer Review: Spain on the Road Again, the tv show plus book, is a complete fantasy come true. I love it. It may help that I have been to about half the places in Spain that they describe, but it is beautifully done escapism. The recipes I've tried are great. The book is totally worth it, from one who almost... more info
Customer Review: Yes, I get it, you've stayed in all the five-star, treats-you-like-a-Royalty, $400-per-night Grand Hotel suites all throughout the World, and you liked their banquet dinners with their fancy hors d'oveurs while enoying the view of their pretty, "sprawling gardens". It provided me with a great lay-out for all the parks, tips on making the best use of time, and guides for deciding where to stay and where to eat. Customer Review: This book is so good that we followed it with blind faith to plan our trip. The book is very well-written, accurate and gives sufficient background to prepare for the trip. Ideal if you're driving around because the book gives excellent directions on where to stop.
Customer Review: You can tell the book was written by a local guy. It is a great book, I highly recommend going through all of it before planning. I would also recommend adding coordinates for GPS ease of navigation. Some place are hard enough to find even with the detailed book explanation.
Add some rainy day... more info
Customer Review: The Zagat guide is as important as a map in New York City, where there is a restaurant in almost every storefront or building (and it includes a very nice map as well although I could not get it to tear out). The information is very accurate and up to date, although I did find there were some errors... more info
