The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) announces the Career Achievement Awardees for the Albert E. Koehl Award for Hospitality Marketing and the Winthrop W. Grice Award for Hospitality Public Relations.
Winners will be honored at the HSMAI Adrian Awards Celebration, returning to the New York Marriott Marquis, February 13, 2024.
The Adrian Awards are the largest and most prestigious travel marketing competition, representing the past year's top marketing campaigns from across the global hospitality industry.
This year's event, taking place outside New York City for the first time in more than 25 years, has been reimagined to provide attendees more time to socialize, celebrate, and enjoy the exceptional outdoor and indoor spaces offered by The Boca Raton. Networking receptions will take place before and after the awards ceremony.
The 2021 HSMAI Adrian Awards competition features a new Technology Innovation entry category in cooperation with HFTP. This category will honor innovations in sales, marketing & guest satisfaction, revenue optimization technology and platforms that are powering the recovery.

For this year’s Adrian Awards competition, HSMAI created four new award categories as well as the Hospitality Heroes program to recognize resilience in response to the unprecedented challenges brought on by the pandemic.
Dorothy Dowling, senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Best Western Hotels & Resorts, will be recognized with the Albert E. Koehl Award for Hospitality Marketing. Mary Gostelow, publisher of the Gostelow Report, will be honored with the Winthrop W. Grice Award for Public Relations.
