Acknowledged as a leading professional body for the advancement of quality practices in the UK, the IQA aims to facilitate and promote the use of quality to add value to organizations and enhance the standing of quality professionals. Although a membership organization (with 13,000 individual members and 600 company members), does provide useful information to non-members in the form of frequently asked questions, reviews of key books in the quality field, plus factsheets of introductions to key subjects within quality, e.g. an overview of the ISO standards, or how to select a certification body for a quality management system. Also offers a number of accredited training courses and qualifications, along with access to selected articles from the IQA monthly magazine 'Quality World'. Links to other organizations concerned with quality, and contains a register of quality consultants.
