Tastings BTI is America’s source for independent reviews for the beverage trade, free of advertising and sponsorship. Founded in 1981 with a mission to create accurate and unbiased wine reviews via the World Wine Championships (the first international wine competition in the US,) BTI created the World Beer Championships and what is now known as the International Review of Spirits in 1994; the first international beer and spirits competitions in the US. BTI’s rich history includes managing the AOL Food & Drink Network (’89-’99,) producing product reviews for Wine Enthusiast Magazine (’92-’99,) and currently maintains several publication partners; Restaurant Hospitality Magazine, The Tribune Network, All About Beer, and others. BTI also releases eTastings newsletter to over 23,000 subscribers, and provides marketing and POS materials to participating brands.
