AmericInn announced that Arnold Angeloni has been named chief executive officer of both AmericInn and its parent company, Northcott Hospitality International, LLC.

Angeloni, who had been serving as the interim chief executive officer, has assumed his position effective immediately.

"Since joining us in July, Arnold has very quickly and capably demonstrated excellent leadership and managerial skills, an impressive ability to master the intricacies of our business and a keen understanding of the interpersonal skills needed for a job such as his," said Richard S. Taylor, chairman of the company's board of governors. "As the board watched Arnold's performance with increasing satisfaction, we realized that the right candidate for the position was already on the job."

Prior to his tenure with AmericInn, Angeloni was a management consultant who specialized in providing companies with interim management and advisory services. Angeloni also has held various senior executive positions with Deluxe Corporation, a printing and financial services company, where -- over a 30-year career -- he was president of the $1.2 billion Check Printing Division as well as president of the Business Systems Division, a $400 million business unit.
