W Hotels Worldwide today announced its re-entry to the iconic harbour city with the signing of W Sydney. Built and developed by Grocon and funded by Greaton Group, W Sydney will make its debut in 2020.
The 342-room hotel will be Singapore's first Pullman and will feature a rooftop bar and executive lounge with sweeping views over Fort Canning, the Singapore River and St Andrew's Cathedral, along with a vibrant lobby, health and fitness centre and pool. The hotel is set to open in 2022 after a complete redevelopment of the site.
A seasoned leader in the hospitality industry, Juliens career with Four Seasons spans over 20 years and includes senior management positions at Four Seasons hotels and resorts in California, Paris, Budapest, and most recently in Baltimore, Maryland. His appointment in Tianjin is his 5th with the company.
Inuyama, in Japans Aichi Prefecture, will get its first internationally-branded hotel, with IHG and Nagoya Railroad (Meitetsu) signing an agreement to open Hotel Indigo Inuyama Urakuen in the second half of 2021.
