US - Hotel Transactions Trending on Target at $15 Billion - Fall 2012

In January, Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels forecasted Americas hotel transaction volume would hold steady at $15 billion in 2012, and thus far the market is on target with $10 billion of transactions through September 2012. Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels' Adam McGaughy points to how investors are looking outside of gateway markets into secondary markets, like Denver where fundamentals are strong. In Denver sales volumes are on par with last year at $217 million.
